That easy to tap fiber optics?
Just by wearing a hardhat & safety jacket, anybody can just tap fiber optics anywhere anytime.. A secured system that not so secured at all..
As soon as you do anything to tamper with the fiber an alarm is set off at the central office due to level loss on the fiber. Yes it can be tapped just like the old copper could be. The difference is a copper tap could go unnoticed while a fiber tap is will be noticed right away. Not only will it be noticed but it can also be pinpointed with extreme accuracy.
